The basic dome tent or a nice lightweight backpacking tents is perfect for the small group at a basic campground with plush amenities. Sometimes the avid outdoors-man/woman or group of campers requires a more versatile and cabin like structure. This requirement if filled nicely by the Outfitter Tent which has also been refereed to as a cabin style tent or a walled tent. I have reviewed a few selections on the market including the Cabela’s selection of custom canvas outfitter tents. These are all very nice products but in today’s economy most consumers are looking for a more reasonably priced tent. This is a niche filled perfectly by the Eureka! Pine Lodge Walled Tent.
Some of the key aspects of this product that I feel are very important to the sportsman or woman include:
Features:
- Freestanding, color-coded exoskeleton frame, clips, and ring and pin assembly make set up easy and fast to set up by 2 people in less than 10 minutes
- Heavy duty 150D StormShield polyester construction ensures years of durability
-”Easy-slide” front fan door is zipperless and kid-friendly; includes window for ventilation and visibility
- StormShield polyester fly protects vent from the elements – 4 large windows on sidewalls with zippered covers adjust for ventilation and privacy
Further note that the awning created by the rain fly is perfect for working on your gear after a tough day out in the woods.
